Many young children today are deprived of a home and of basic necessities, either due to extreme poverty and/or the absence or early death of their parents. Depending on the needs of the children in the communities it serves, Operation Blessing develops programs that impart love and instill hope among the future generation. Values education is an important component of all OB programs. These include gift-giving, summer school programs, and kids' camp.
BTS offers education sponsorships for impoverished children in the form of school fees, supplies and uniforms.
BAC, addresses the health needs of malnourished pre-school children through the provision of nutritionally balanced meals, monthly health care, and free education, if applicable, for one whole year. Parents of these children are also provided with skills training and health education.
This program imparts the true meaning of Christmas and Easter to orphans, indigent children, special children, children of missionaries, and dependents of soldiers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines through gift-giving, games, film showing, Bible storytelling, puppet shows, and meals.
Operation Blessing initiates kids’ camps in various communities during summer. With the help of local churches, OB gathers children for a one-day camp filled with fun games and activities. OB also develops and distributes children's educational materials.
Through the Orphan’s Promise Program, OB provides the necessary needs of vulnerable and at-risk children. It hopes to bring hope and a promising future to these children.
This program aims to provide nutritious yet inexpensive meals to more than 1,000 school children for one whole year. This has a bigger scope compared to the BTS program.
